Offering significant benefits over studding, the rainscreen façade can attain a positive fix anywhere on the airtight SIPS panel without additional packing or battens. The simplicity of the system provides for easier detailing at the design stage, significant savings in manufacture and installation costs and the benefit of an optically flat façade with a maximum cladding zone of 50mm from the outside face of the SIPS, incorporating where required, multiple finishes.
In addition to site finishing SIPS panels with traditional materials including render and brick slip, external cladding products include profiled metal cladding and roofing, timber cladding, perforated sheet, standing seam, secret fix and through fix rainscreen, plank, glass, shiplap, shingle, plate & extruded panels or profiles in a variety of finishes.
Finishes include pre or post coat paint, APCM an exceptionally lightweight, flat composite material available in a variety of finishes, anodising, stainless steel, textured coatings, aluminium, and sacrificial natural finishes such as zinc, copper, brass & core-ten.
In addition terracotta tiles are available together with high-pressure laminates reconstituted natural mixes & cast resin board panels plus vertical membrane finishes with expanded metal/perforated or dual density offset screens.
