Ideal for the UK climate, SIPS consist of two parallel faces of OSB, sandwiching a rigid core of modified poly-foam. Structural insulated panels display absolutely consistent density properties, making them lightweight, quick to erect and free from the problems of compression shrinkage and cold bridging associated with other forms of construction.
Structural insulated panels are available in a range of thicknesses for structural or non load-bearing use and are ideal for walls, floors and roofs in commercial, residential, industrial and education buildings.
A pure SIPS structure incorporates internal/external load-bearing SIPS walls supporting SIPS floors and roofs. The SIP will support any floor construction including TJI or Easi-Joist to PC concrete planks together with a traditional cut roof or trusses. This form of construction offers the fastest, most environmentally sound and cost-effective method of construction. Where large internal spans are required, the introduction of a simple steel frame integrated with SIPS will help reduce the primary steel frame and associated foundations, providing significant cost savings.
Thru-Wall insulated panels are manufactured from the highest quality material using state-of-the-art production equipment to rigorous quality control standards, complying with ISO 9000 Standard, ensuring long-term reliability and service life.
